Mark began his career in journalism at Boston.com and the Boston Globe, where he reeled in millions of readers covering the region’s sports teams for one of the most-read digital media outlets in the nation. He moved to the San Antonio Express-News, racing to deliver crisp copy and unique insights on the breaking news beat — and catching a wooden bullet for his troubles.
At the San Francisco-based PR and public affairs firm Riff City Strategies, Mark found the same adrenaline rush landing impactful stories in top-tier business and trade publications for clients ranging from self-driving cars to cannabis technology, with an emphasis on B2B tech. He prides himself on honing stories that resonate, developing relationships with key reporters, and driving media campaigns that accelerate a startup's momentum or cement an industry leader’s status.Mark studied Journalism at University of Massachusetts at Amherst, where he played for the Division I Men’s Soccer team.
He lives in San Francisco and enjoys Gaelic football and getting lost in a good book.
